Description

This Power BI dashboard tracks key website traffic metrics.

  • Page Views and Unique Page Views: The first line shows the total number of page views and unique page views for a specific date range. In this example, there were 63.1K page views and 54.3K unique page views from June 16, 2022 to the last refresh date.
  • Organic Searches, New Site Visitors, Bounce Rate, and Average Session Time: The second line shows metrics related to user acquisition and engagement. Organic searches refer to visitors who came to the website through a search engine, new site visitors are users who have never visited the website before, bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who leave the website after viewing only one page, and average session time is the amount of time users spend browsing the website.
  • Page Views by Hour and Day: This section shows the distribution of page views throughout the day and across different days of the week. This helps to understand user browsing patterns and identify peak traffic times.
  • Page Views (with Median Line) by Month and Year: This line chart shows the trends in page views over a period of months and years. The median line helps to visualize the middle value of the data set and identify seasonal trends.
  • Page Views and Top 5 Referral Sources by Month Year: This table shows the total page views and top 5 referral sources for each month. Referral sources are websites that directed traffic to your website. This helps to understand where your website traffic is coming from and optimize marketing efforts accordingly. In this example, Direct traffic is the top referral source, followed by Bing, Google, LinkedIn, and Youtube.

Overall, this dashboard provides a comprehensive view of website traffic and user engagement, allowing you to track website performance over time and identify areas for improvement.
