Description

This Human Resources (HR) dashboard provides a breakdown of employee headcount and salary costs for  a fictional company. It uses slicers to allow users to interactively explore the data by department and job title.

Employee Headcount by Department: A pie chart that shows the distribution of employees across different departments. In this example, the Marketing department has the highest number of employees (35%), followed by Sales (27%) and Engineering (18%).

Total Salary Cost by Department: A bar chart that shows the total salary cost for each department. This can be used to compare department costs and identify areas for potential budget adjustments. In this example, Engineering has the highest total salary cost, even though it has fewer employees than Marketing. This could be because Engineering roles tend to have higher salaries.

Employee Headcount by Job Title: A table that shows the number of employees for each job title. This provides a more granular view of the workforce composition.

Slicers for Department and Job Title: Slicers allow users to filter the data by department and job title. For example, a user could select the Marketing department to see a breakdown of employee headcount and salary costs by job title within the Marketing department.

This HR dashboard provides valuable insights into the workforce structure and salary costs. This information can be used for various HR tasks, such as planning, budgeting, and managing the workforce.
