Hello and welcome to my site! I'm thrilled to have you here as I embark on this journey of sharing my thoughts, experiences, and passions with you. I'd like to give you a glimpse into who I am and the remarkable path I've walked so far.

 

Who am I, you ask? Well, that's a hard question to answer, because I wear many hats in life. But let me start with the basics: I'm a human being, a man, a father of two wonderful girls, who believes that the purpose of our existence is to be the best version of ourselves, to explore, to help and to make this world a better place for our children.

 

I'm also a leader, a volunteer, who dedicated years to promoting tolerance, foster dialogue, and celebrate diversity among cultures and nationalities. I was born in a small but very colorful multicultural town in Vojvodina, a region in Serbia with a rich and diverse history. After finishing elementary school, I moved to bigger cities, where I met like-minded people who had a strong desire to change our world for the better. We started as volunteers in local non-profit organizations, and soon we decided to create our own contribution to society. We founded and co-founded many organizations in the region, each with a different mission but united by the same vision: a better future for everyone. We supported progressive politics and defended core democratic values at every step. We opposed totalitarianism and conservative ideology, which we saw as threats to our freedom and dignity.

 

However, in 2012, things changed in Serbia. The people elected a government that did not share our values or vision. I felt that my path in Serbia was coming to an end, and I decided to look for a new home. That's how I ended up in Australia, the land down under. Here, I met new friends, new colleagues, learned about the society and its customs, and the differences in cultures that people brought from all over this beautiful planet. I also learned how they are harmonized by a young, modern and democratic system of government, such as the Australian one. I'm very happy and grateful to have this opportunity, and I'm open-minded and curious about the years to come.

I started studying law, learning about legal matters for three years. During this time, I also ventured into creating non-profit organizations, which opened my eyes to managing projects and driving positive changes.

As I transitioned into project management roles, I began to see the value of economics. The insights from my law studies combined with my growing project experience, helping me guide teams through projects while staying within legal boundaries.

Although I didn't complete my law studies, the skills I gained during those years were invaluable in tackling complex situations. I took on more responsibilities in non-profit work, which led me to pursue further education in economics.
